Three Important Things to Remember When Observing The Passover

Updated: Mar 18, 2022

And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the Passover of The Most High Yah .

Numbers 28:16

Shabbat Shalom beloved, tonight marks the Shabbat and 14th day of the month AaKhaat according to our Hebrew calendar. In which we begin observing The Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the Night of Passover, when our HaMashiac, was falsely accused, locked up, and executed. In commemoration of Him, remove the leaven or "Pride" from your hearts, and partake in Passover. Here are some other truths to observe.

1. Acknowledge the power of The Most High to deliver us.

Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am The Most High , and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: Exodus 6:6

2. Commemorate our Messiah and His sacrifice for our sins.

And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull, They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink. And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. And sitting down they watched him there; Matthew 27:28‭-‬29‭, ‬33‭-‬36 KJV 3. Partake in The Last Passover Meal Before our Messiah's Death and Resurrection

For I have received of our Elohim, that which also I delivered unto you, That our King Yahshua the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: do this in remembrance of me. 1 Corinthians 11:23‭-‬24

Its not always practical to have a great feast of Lamb, complete with all of the herbs and fixings. If you can share that with family and friends great, but the main thing is to partake in Communion with our Saviour, and that can be done with a few blessed crackers or flour tortilla (Unleavened Bread), wine or grape juice.

While the only way to properly celebrate The Passover Celebration is in The Holy City, we can at least observe this precious and redeeming time of the year wherever you are with a heart of prayer, reflection and gratitude, and by sharing this message with as many people as you can. Have a blessed Passover!

'May The Most High bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you]; The Most High make His face shine upon you [with favor], And be gracious to you [surrounding you with love and kindness]; May The Most High lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval], And give you Shalom [peace and blessings]." Numbers 6:24-26

Shabbat Shalom.
